    Dreamers' Circus

With a vision of making New Nordic Music accessible in Denmark and abroad, exploring new creative boundaries while rooted in tradition as well as developing the brand of the genre, this trio has been Ale Carr’s main project since 2009.

  • Rydvall Mjelva Carr

Uniting three leading voices in Nordic folk, this trio explores the shared traditions of Sweden and Norway through nyckelharpa, Hardanger fiddle, and cittern. Blending deep-rooted craftsmanship with a contemporary artistic vision, Rydvall Mjelva Carr represents one of Ale Carr’s key projects - where tradition, innovation, and cross-Nordic collaboration meet.

  • Folkets Festival

Folkets Festival at VEGA in Copenhagen is a vibrant meeting place for contemporary folk expression—where tradition meets today, and New Nordic Music takes center stage. As co-artistic director, Ale Carr helps shape a program focused on relevance, creativity, and artistic curiosity, making the festival a key initiative for new encounters and fresh perspectives within the Nordic music landscape.
